EXPERIENCE

2023

Online Content Coordinator – Centre of Visual Art

The focus of this role was remodeling CoVA’s website. As content coordinator, I used a CMS to re-design and update site content, and digitally archive documentation of key research projects. I also managed the organisation’s social media channels, and produced and distributed a bi-weekly newsletter promoting upcoming events.

2020 – 2023

Sessional Tutor, Art History – University of Melbourne

Over a three year period I developed and taught content for the first year survey subject, The World in 20 Artworks, and for the graduate-level academic skills subject, Research Practices & Principles. This involved researching a broad range of topics and tailoring material for diverse levels of knowledge and academic skillsets. Additionally the teaching material was successfully delivered both online and in-person, requiring careful consideration of how different modes of engagement can be used to the greatest advantage for a variety of student learning needs and capabilities.

2021

EditorCurrents Journal, Special Issue

I had the pleasure of being the guest editor for a special issue of Currents Journal, developed in conjunction with the Archipelagic Encounters Symposium that I co-produced with colleagues from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. In this role I selected original research for publication, oversaw a rigorous peer-review process, edited submissions and organised a launch event for the journal issue.
